JavaScript Developer
LOCATION
Birmingham, West Midlands
(Hybrid – 1 day per month in the office)

SALARY
Up to £70,000 per annum

  • Hybrid working – remote‑first with 1 day per month onsite

THE JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER OPPORTUNITY
As a JavaScript Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and enhancing scalable, high‑performance web applications used by thousands of customers. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver robust, user‑focused solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining JavaScript‑driven applications
  • Building responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces
  • Collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
  • Improving code quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Contributing to architectural decisions and technical best practices
YOUR KEY SKILLS
  • Strong commercial experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks/libraries (e.g. React, Vue, Angular or similar)
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative workflows
  • Experience working in agile / sprint‑based environments
  • Exposure to Node.js, testing frameworks, CI/CD, or cloud platforms is advantageous
