THE PHP DEVELOPER OPPORTUNITY
As a PHP Developer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and enhancing high‑traffic web applications that directly impact customer experience and commercial performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining PHP‑based applications and APIs
- Working closely with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver new features
- Improving performance, scalability, and security of existing systems
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code
- Contributing to technical decisions and best practices across the development team
YOUR KEY SKILLS
- Strong commercial experience with PHP
- Experience working with modern PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony or similar)
- Solid understanding of MySQL / relational databases
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Exposure to front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Comfortable working in an agile / sprint‑based environment
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, or eCommerce platforms would be beneficial
- Salary up to £60,000
- Highly remote‑friendly working model (only 1 day per month in the office)
