JOB TITLE:                                       ENGINEERING LEAD

LOCATION:                                     London

SALARY:                                          £90,000 - £120,000

WAY OF WORKING:                     Once a week in the office

THE ENGINEERING LEAD OPPORTUNITY:  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive estimates and delivery plans
  • Consult with clients to provide technical guidance and strategic advice
  • Work closely with clients to determine project requirements and scope
  • Strategize with stakeholders on data architecture, storage, business logic, and deployment pipelines
  • Proven experience as a team leader, helping others take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Attract and retain high-level talent as part of an engineering/product team
  • Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders on development journeys
  • Design solution architectures, engineer data, and manage data for high-growth companies
  • Develop cloud-based ETL pipelines, APIs, end-to-end data processing solutions, and customer UIs
  • Write testable, modular, and extensible code using TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js
  • Ensure best practices for software development processes, engineering standards, and documentation
  • Scale backend infrastructure and data pipelines to enable user growth
  • Implement security and data privacy best practices
  • Extract and integrate disparate data sources to improve efficiencies.
YOUR KEY SKILLS: 
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • React and Node.js
  • Python
  • Python and JavaScript testing frameworks
  • AWS Cloud products, including traditional and serverless offerings
  • BaaS (Backend as a Service) toolkits such as AWS Amplify and/or Google Firebase development toolkits
  • GraphQL
  • Mobile technologies, including React Native
  • Google Cloud Platform
