JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Permanent |Hybrid – Twice a week onsite
SALARY: Up to £60k

THE DATA ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

Led the CCM BDC squad, driving improvements in existing services, resolving issues/bugs, and orchestrating the transition to a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure.
Achieved timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project deliveries while overseeing the implementation of sophisticated communication solutions to meet customer requirements.
Guided and nurtured junior team members, fostering the development of their technical expertise.
Ensured the stability of our Production environment through participation in a 24/7 on-call weekly rotation

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

Demonstrated proficiency in Scala programming language as a full-stack dev-ops professional through prior work experience.
Possess expertise in Control-M, Hadoop/Spark, Kafka, Charon streaming, Postman, and Hue – including adeptness in SQL querying.
Proven capability to conceptualize and implement technical solutions that elevate digital communications environment.
Self-driven and able to work independently, displaying strong self-motivation in various tasks and projects.
Extensive exposure to agile software development practices, encompassing Unit testing, Test-driven development, and CI/CD.
Track record of handling Production-related incidents until resolution, showcasing previous experience in providing steadfast support.
