LOCATION: Burnley
SALARY: £34k - £37k
WAY OF WORKING: Hybrid option

THE INTERNAL SCHEDULER OPPORTUNITY: The Internal Scheduler plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly — planning what needs to be made, when, and with what resources. They coordinate materials, people, and timelines to make sure customer orders are met efficiently and on schedule.

THE INTERNAL SCHEDULER OPPORTUNITY: The Internal Scheduler plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly — planning what needs to be made, when, and with what resources. They coordinate materials, people, and timelines to make sure customer orders are met efficiently and on schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain short-term production and supply plans that meet customer demand and stock targets.
- Use the ERP/MRP system to plan materials, schedule work orders, and manage any changes or delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams to balance capacity, resolve scheduling issues, and keep production on track.
- Monitor stock levels, deliveries, and production progress to ensure accurate data and smooth workflow.
- Analyse performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and work with manufacturing teams to improve efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement by helping to streamline processes and shorten production lead times.
- Solid understanding of MRP2 and supply chain principles, with awareness of business economics, production processes, and logistics fundamentals
- Ideally holds or is working toward an APICS BSCM certification (or equivalent supply chain qualification).
- Confident using ERP and supply chain systems (such as supplier portals) along with standard desktop software for planning and reporting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and make clear, confident decisions.
- Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management, representing the business professionally while keeping the supply chain moving smoothly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex information and identify effective solutions.
- Able to anticipate risks and assess impacts, ensuring potential issues are addressed before they affect production.
- A proactive and accountable team player, known for being clear, thorough, and resilient, with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
- 37-hour week over 4.5 days with a 1pm Friday finish
