JOB TITLE:                                  Performance & Dynamics Engineer

LOCATION:                                 Gloucestershire

SALARY:                                       £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
25 days holiday + UK Bank Holidays | Shares and profit share bonus scheme | Development and Training at company University | Company Sponsored external training | subsidised canteen

WAY OF WORKING:                Full Time | Monday – Friday | Hybrid Working

The Performance & Dynamics Engineer will be working within the Research, Design & Development department within the Architecture & Systems Engineering team.

THE PERFORMANCE & DYNAMICS ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
  • Building computational models & running simulations.
  • Defining and documenting simulation cases and pass/fail criteria.
  • Calculating static & dynamic loads.
  • Optimising design solutions in conjunction with other engineering disciplines.
  • Write & validate performance & dynamics requirements.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
  • System loads generation.
  • Shock absorber performance analysis.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, MSC EASY5, AMESim or MSC ADAMS.
  • Shimmy & stability analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems engineering.
