JOB TITLE:                                   Senior Embedded Flight Software Engineer
LOCATION:                                 Oxfordshire
SALARY:                                      £75k

25 days holiday (increasing yearly up to a maximum of 28         days) + 8 days Bank Holiday

This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact into deploying advanced technologies into orbit, as well as collaborating closely with space agencies, satellite operators, and industry stakeholders to ensure the long-term sustainability of space activities and protect vital space assets.
  • Design, develop and validate onboard Flight Software for spacecraft.
  • Define ICDs, development and verification plans.
  • Coordinate with other teams at sub-system and system level to identify software needs and solutions.
  • Perform Flight Software verification, validation, and integration.
  • Participate in Mission System Test and Simulation campaigns.
  • Experience in software development for real-time embedded systems (C/C++).
  • Experience developing software for the aerospace/ space sector.
  • Experience of implementing real-time systems and software.
  • Experience in developing and implementing test plans, verification and validation.
