JOB TITLE: SOLUTION ARCHITECT
LOCATION: BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
SALARY: Up to £85.8k + bonus + 6k Car Allowance
WAY OF WORKING: 2 days a week in the office

THE SOLUTION ARCHITECT OPPORTUNITY:
- Utilising a strong background in domain and Decision Driven Design, along with knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and API & microservice architecture solutions, to create Solution Design Documents (SDD) with tools like Avolution Abacus.
- Coordinating and collaborating with other architecture disciplines (Security, Data, Infrastructure, Cloud, etc.) to own the end-to-end Solution Architecture, ensuring alignment with the Domain Enterprise Architecture Strategy.
- Crafting and documenting complex As-Is, Transition, and Target Architectures that are aligned with corresponding roadmaps.
- Establishing and maintaining strategy and roadmaps, aligning various stakeholders across different technologies and business areas at both local and global levels.
- Possessing knowledge of Digital, API, Micro-Services, Big Data, AWS, Azure, Cloud Architecture, and domain-relevant software packages.
- Understanding and having experience in migrating and decommissioning legacy technologies, as well as eliminating obsolescence.
- Proficient in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture with substantial experience in Financial Institutions, Retail, or Corporate sectors
- Skilled in creating practical and workable architectures that adhere to IT principles and standards while following appropriate governance.
- Collaboration and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to diplomatically challenge and influence a diverse group of stakeholders and colleagues.
- The capability to manage ambiguity with resilience, driving clarity and agreement.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle competing demands on time.
