Business Development Manager

Location: London / South-East (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 basic + uncapped OTE (double) + quarterly incentives & accelerators
Way of Working: Full-time, permanent, hybrid

A fast‑growing, innovation‑led Managed Service Provider undergoing an exciting period of expansion across the UK SME market. Known for delivering modern cloud, cyber security, and digital workplace solutions, the business is scaling its presence across London and the South-East. Due to continued investment in sales and go‑to‑market operations, they are now seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to accelerate new logo growth and embed a high‑performance new business function.

THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY

  • Drive aggressive new logo acquisition within SME target segments across London and the South-East.
  • Build and manage a high‑velocity pipeline through structured prospecting, qualification, and disciplined sales cadence.
  • Run the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery, solution shaping, proposal, negotiation, and close, working closely with Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Leverage AI‑powered sales tools, automation, and personal networks to identify, nurture, and convert opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to produce customer-ready proposals, scoping documents, and commercial materials.

YOUR KEY SKILLS

  • Proven success selling Managed IT Services within an MSP (BDM, SDR, or Sales Executive level).
  • Strong network across the MSP ecosystem and confidence in leveraging relationships from day one.
  • Demonstrable track record of winning new business and exceeding targets.
  • Experience operating in long sales cycles (12–24 months).
  • Solid understanding of SME technology challenges: cloud, M365, Copilot, cyber security, and digital workplace.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven sales tools and modern prospecting technologies.
  • Commercially sharp, resilient, and process‑driven with a proactive hunter mentality.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to tell compelling stories and shape strategic opportunities.
