JOB TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Wiltshire
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Permanent |Hybrid – Once a week onsite
SALARY: £50 - £60k

THE DATA ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Azure SQL / Synapse metadata framework for Data Engineering.
- Build Azure Synapse pipelines to ingest source data into the Data Lake and deliver data to Power BI for reporting purposes.
- Execute data transformations based on mapping documents.
- Develop Azure Synapse pipelines to capture audits, handle errors, and manage exceptions.
- Automate Azure Synapse pipelines and jobs in the Report Layer using designated scheduling tools.
- Ensure compliance with established Data Engineering standards.
- Familiarity with Cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Skilled in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Passionate about Data Technologies, Microsoft Azure, and DevOps.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and expanding expertise.
- Adaptable and open to embracing change.
