Location: Hybrid – Office-based 2 days per week with travel to sites across the UK

Salary: £60,000 + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Network Solutions Architect Opportunity

  • Lead the design and deployment of network architecture for customer systems
  • Develop and maintain detailed network infrastructure documentation
  • Evaluate and select products/services aligned with customer requirements
  • Implement security measures to strengthen network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of network solutions
  • Support pre-sales activities, including requirement capture and business analysis
  • Provide guidance on escalated issues as part of fourth-line support

Your Key Skills

  • Strong ability to design and implement network solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCDP) desirable
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco SD Access, Firepower Firewalls, Catalyst/Nexus switching
  • Knowledge of network automation tools (Auvik, Ansible/AWX, Netmiko)
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi design and tools such as Ekahau
  • Exposure to firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) and security solutions
  • Understanding of Operational Technology networks and protocols (Modbus, BACnet)
