THE BUSINESS:
This organisation operates at the intersection of two recently unified businesses following an acquisition, creating a unique environment where engineering teams, systems, and practices are being brought together. With a growing engineering function of approximately 25 professionals, the business is focused on modernising its technology landscape and evolving its platform to support long-term scalability and innovation.
Having recently completed a large-scale cloud migration, the organisation is now transitioning towards optimising its cloud presence and modernising a substantial .NET Framework estate into .NET Core, adopting cloud-native technologies and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work within a focused sub-team to modernise and optimise a large .NET-based platform.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment pipelines and introduce cloud-native solutions.
  • Contribute to the migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance B2B SaaS web applications.
Act as a key communication bridge between engineering teams, stakeholders, and product teams.
  • Support the alignment of systems and technical direction in a post-acquisition environment.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical decisions.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance optimisation are followed.
  • Contribute to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

KEY SKILLS:
  • Strong experience with .NET technologies and version control (Git).
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience delivering SaaS applications within cloud environments.
  • Solid database experience, particularly Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

BENEFITS:
  • Competitive salary with hybrid working flexibility.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale platform modernisation.
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices.
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking engineering culture.
  • Career development within a growing and evolving organisation.

HOW TO APPLY:
If you are a .NET Engineer who enjoys working in complex environments and influencing technical direction, we would love to hear from you.
